Whitney was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and attended Punahou School. She graduated from Willamette University with a degree in biology and minor in chemistry. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University's Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine in mixed animal medicine. She is currently participating in a year long rotating internship at VCA Family and Oahu Specialty Center in Pearl City. She is happy to be back at Aloha Animal Hospital working alongside Dr. Chang as she previously worked as a technician here for 6 years. Her special interests include internal medicine, emergency medicine, and cardiology. When she's not in the clinic or at farms, you can find her in the ocean, hiking, or in the gym. She especially loves to go on adventures with her companions Maya, an Australian Shephard and two cats, Cheeto and Melvin.
