We know the last month and half hasn't been easy and we appreciate your patience throughout this transition. Hawaii Kai Vet Clinic had graciously shared their space with us and gave us a temporary home where we could see our patients and meet with our clients. We are extremely grateful for all of their support this past month.
So now to the big news, we have secured a new location to work out of for the next year! We will begin appointments in this new location starting 10/15/18.
November - Diabetes Awareness Month
This November we want to focus on diabetes awareness. Most of us know a person in our life that was diagnosed with diabetes, but did you know pets can get diabetes too? Most commonly you will see signs of excessive water drinking and increased urination, weight loss, recurring infections, and changes in appetite. If you suspect your pet is showing signs of diabetes please come in today!
"Being able to take care of a pet is symbolic of our liberty." ~ Douglas K.Y Chang D.V.M
"It's not so much that we need pets or pets need us. It's just that we're better together. They help us fulfill a need to nurture. When we care for them, we care for ourselves."
~ Dr. Douglas Chang (as quoted in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, May 1, 2012)
