Despite AAHAís awards for its high-tech medicine, we still believe that technology Ė no matter how much it advances Ė it will never replace human care. As a result, AAHA only selects equipment that enables us to provide more efficient, less invasive care to your pet. Itís useful for you as well. You can watch along with us while our video probe explores what is going on inside your petís body or receive digital X-rays. This helps you to better understand your petís condition and become an even better pet parent.
The Life Window Monitor
The Life Window Monitor is used during surgery and is a highly reliable ďsecond pair of eyes and earsĒ on your pet. It measures your petís heart rate, EKG, blood pressure, oxygen, Co2 level, temperature, and anesthetic gas levels.

Aloha Animal Hospital Video Dr Jones explains how Aloha Animal Hospital uses technology to delivery anesthetics and maintain blood pressure during surgery.
Electronic Medical Records
Aloha Animal Hospital Associates uses electronic medical records (EMRs) to ensure that every detail in your petís file is accurate and up to date. Here, Dr. Douglas Chang reviews an X-ray of a bird wing. This image will remain in the petís permanent file.
Digital Radiography This machine allows us to process your petís X-rays so quickly that we can both diagnose and treat a condition in the same appointment. It also allows us to manipulate the images in multiple ways to get better angles or magnification and more precise measurements. We can convert the files to conventional X-ray films and save them for you on a CD.
CT Scans We can see detailed imagery to more accurately diagnose serious trauma, cancer or other life-threatening conditions. We engage the services of human medical specialists to give us greater access to current technology.
Ultrasounds We use ultrasound to see more detailed imagery and to assist us in diagnosing various diseases. A trained full time human ultrasonographer using state of the art equipment helps us acquire the images. Then we have the images reviewed by a board certified veterinary radiologist to assure that our interpretations are appropriate.
When you bring your pet through our front doors, you're entrusting us with an important member of your family. We don't take that lightly. Aloha Animal Hospital Associates is a group of dedicated, highly trained experts who are rich with multi-disciplinary training.
